Usadan-gil has long been a place of contrasts. Tradition and immigration, religion and rebellion, hillside shantytowns and rooftop bars coexisted precariously. Now, the area is under threat of demolition for a massive apartment complex.

Lost Civilization: Usadan is not your typical tour. It is a moving art project, a field trip where you become an urban archaeologist. This tour is a limited-time project pop-up tour, available only until the area is demolished. All pop-up tours will be linked to an archival exhibition after they are completed.

On this immersive journey, you will:
Receive a printed guide and orientation for your “mission”
Explore the demolition zone with open eyes and a curious mind
Collect emotional artifacts through photography, sketches, or physical objects
Share your findings over a reflective tea session
Optionally contribute to a growing archive of stories and memories
This tour is not about history —it’s about preserving the present before it becomes forgotten.
